South Loop Real Estate Market

Situated just south of The Loop, the aptly named South Loop neighborhood provides easy access to Chicago’s primary business and financial district, the downtown theatre district, Museum Campus, Soldier Field, and countless other amenities and attractions along the way as well. South Loop Amenities & Attractions
As alluded to above, there’s a lot going on all throughout Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood, which truly makes it a great place to call home. The wide open park space over at Grant Park is well within walking distance from any South Loop location, as is the lakefront and the Lakefront Trail, which of course is one of the best places to go for a walk, jog, or bike ride in the city. Museum Campus is also close by, providing residents with unparalleled access to the She'd Aquarium, the Field Museum, and of course Soldier Field—home of the Chicago Bears. McCormick Place is also in the South Loop, and the recently built Wintrust Arena now calls the South Loop home as well.
South Loop Transit
The South Loop is primarily serviced by the CTA Red Line, although CTA Green and Orange Line stations are also nearby as well. To access the Red Line in the South Loop, swing over to the Harrison or Roosevelt stations, and to access the Green and Orange Lines, you’ll also need to head to the Roosevelt station. Major bus lines that run through the South Loop include the #146 (Inner Drive / Michigan Express), the #3 (King Drive), and the #4 (Cottage Grove).
